Community rules

The Job Forum is a professional community. These rules keep it useful and safe for everyone. Breaking them can get a post removed or a profile paused.

1. Be real

Use your real name and a real photo of yourself. Describe your work and experience honestly. One profile per person. Do not pretend to be another person or company.

2. Never ask for money for a job

No “processing fees”, “registration fees”, paid training to get hired, or requests for bank, card or BVN details. Genuine employers do not charge candidates. This is the fastest way to be removed, and we may report it to the authorities.

3. Be respectful

No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or discrimination, including about ethnicity, religion, gender, disability or age. Disagree with ideas, not people.

4. Keep it professional

No sexual content, graphic violence, or content that is illegal. Share jobs, lessons, wins, questions and industry news. Promotion is fine in moderation; repeated spam is not.

5. Share jobs honestly

Only share real jobs. Jobs posted through Gelllez Jobs come from employers we have checked. If you share an outside job, say who the employer is.

6. Respect privacy

Private messages are for professional conversations with your connections. Do not send unwanted sales pitches, chain messages or anything you would not say in public. Never send money, bank details or ID documents to someone promising you a job; report the message instead.

Do not post other people’s personal details (phone numbers, addresses, ID documents) without permission. Do not screenshot and share private conversations.

How we enforce the rules

• Anyone can report a post, comment or profile, privately. Three reports hide a post or comment until the Gelllez team reviews it.
• You can block anyone. You then stop seeing each other, and any connection is removed.
• The Gelllez team reviews reports and may remove content or pause a profile. A person makes every decision.
• To appeal a decision, email support@gelllez.com.
