Basic
Registered business, address, contact details, the director or key person identified, commodity specialisation and years in operation.
Operational
Gelllez has visited the business, and its warehouse, commodity sourcing and logistics are backed by evidence Gelllez has verified.
Export
NEPC registration or export documentation, commodity or quality certificates, and previous export records, verified by Gelllez.
Supplier tiers
Tier 1 and Tier 2, earned on evidence and performance.
Suppliers move up on measured results: order fulfilment, quality compliance, documentation, delivery performance and buyer satisfaction. Never on a waiting period.
Tier 1 · Verified / Established
Proven operating capacity, a verifiable business history, successful transactions and a strong compliance record.
Tier 2 · Emerging
Fully verified at Basic, with a limited transaction history. They are supported while they build a record:
- A limited number of active listings
- Controlled access to larger deals
- Extra quality control and independent inspection on bigger orders
- Gelllez monitors their transactions
- Onboarding support and mentorship

Origin and volume
Where it comes from, the available volume in metric tonnes and the minimum order.
Quality
Quality grade, specifications, moisture and packaging, as the supplier states them.
Warehouse and inspection
Where the stock is held, whether the warehouse is verified, and the result of any independent inspection, including a failed one.
Price on request
Commodity prices move, so the supplier confirms today’s price for your quantity when you request a bulk quote.

Pick a commodity and check the supplier
Look at the supplier’s tier and Basic, Operational and Export badges, then open their page for the trust record, certificates, inspections and buyer reviews.

Request a bulk quote
Tell the supplier the quantity, destination and Incoterm. They confirm price, volume and delivery. If you like, book a meeting in person, online or by phone.

Agree the deal and record it
Agree price, payment and delivery with the supplier, ask for independent pre-shipment inspection, and record the deal in the Deal Tracker so you, the supplier and Gelllez can all see its progress. Large deals are signed in the app.

Track it, then review the supplier
Mark payment, delivery and completion as they happen, and raise a dispute in the app if something goes wrong. When it completes, your review counts toward the supplier’s tier.

Apply as a verified supplier or seller
Apply in the Gelllez app. Registered companies and individuals can both apply, and you earn Operational and Export verification afterwards with your evidence. Every application is reviewed by hand by the Gelllez team before you can sell, list or take jobs.
Registered companies
- CAC registration certificate and your CAC / RC number
- National Identification Card (with its 11-digit NIN) or international passport (with its number)
- A live selfie

Individual vendors

- Two reference letters from two different registered Agric commodity businesses, each with that business's CAC / RC number
Everyone also gives the years the business has operated, the full name of the director or key person, and the commodities they specialise in. Aggregators, brokers, processors, exporters, traders, agro-allied companies and warehouse or logistics partners also receive a Gelllez site visit before approval. After approval you can earn Operational and Export verification by uploading warehouse, sourcing, logistics, NEPC and certificate evidence in the app. Documents are uploaded as photos, scans or PDFs inside the signed-in app, never on this page. Our team checks NIN, passport and CAC numbers by hand against the official registers.
