Register as a verified vendor
Register your property, your rental property, or yourself as a property agent. Gelllez verifies agents before they are listed. Every application is reviewed by hand by the Gelllez team before you can sell, list or take jobs.
Individual vendors
- National Identification Number (NIN), passport, driver's licence or voter's card, typed and uploaded
- A live selfie holding that same ID
- Proof of address, under 3 months old
- A bank account in your own name
Registered companies
- CAC certificate, registration number and a recent CAC status report
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) and proof of the registered address
- ID and a selfie of a director or authorised representative
- A bank account in the registered company name

Vetting and verification
Verified before they sell, list or take jobs.
The same process applies to every seller, vendor and provider on the Gelllez marketplace: shop sellers, kitchens, drivers, agents, service providers and farmers.
Registering as a person
- Identity. True legal name, phone number and home address.
- Government ID. A valid National Identification Number (NIN), international passport, driver's licence or voter's card, number typed in and a clear photo uploaded.
- Selfie verification. A live selfie of you holding that same ID, so the photo and the document match.
- Proof of address. A utility bill or bank statement less than 3 months old, in your name.
- Bank account. A bank account in your own legal name, for payouts.
Registering as a company
- CAC registration. Your CAC registration number and certificate (RC, BN or IT), plus a recent CAC status report showing the directors.
- Tax and address. Your Tax Identification Number (TIN) and proof of the company's registered address.
- Authorised representative. The full name, role, government ID and a selfie with that ID of a director or authorised representative.
- Company bank account. A bank account held in the registered company name, not a personal account.
Rules that apply to everyone
- The Gelllez team reviews every application by hand. Nobody can sell, list or take jobs until an admin has checked the documents and approved the account.
- The same National Identification Number or CAC registration number cannot back more than one account.
- We may check details with the issuing authorities (for example the CAC or a bank verification service) and ask for more documents at any time, including documents that fit the specific service, such as a driver's licence for a driver or a professional certificate for a licensed trade.
- ID numbers, selfies and documents are never collected through a public web form: they are uploaded only inside the signed-in, verified registration screen and are visible only to you and the Gelllez admin.
- We may suspend or decline an account at any time where fraud, misrepresentation or a safety risk is found.
Gelllez Connect: individual providers and registered companies
Connect covers hands-on and skilled work, so it carries its own checks on top of the identity vetting above.
- Registers and is verified as an individual provider (NIN or another government ID, selfie with that ID, proof of address, bank account in their own name).
- Chooses the specific kinds of work they do, from Gelllez's fixed list of Connect categories, so only real matches are shown to customers.
- For a licensed or safety-sensitive trade (for example electrical, plumbing, generator, solar, gas or CCTV work), may upload a professional certificate, trade test result or membership card. Gelllez has no single national licensing register to check every trade against, so this is reviewed by hand, not an automated pass or fail.
- Registers and is verified as a registered company (CAC certificate and status report, TIN, and the ID, selfie and role of the director or representative who signs for the company).
- The company's bank account must be in the registered company name, so payouts (where Gelllez handles payment) go to the business, not an individual.
- Any staff member sent to a customer's job should be identifiable as working for that verified company; Gelllez may ask the company for confirmation.
- Held to the same document-based, per-trade certificate review as an individual provider for licensed or safety-sensitive work.
